Darktable 3.6.1 Released (Download), Darktable is an open source application for the photo workflow and processing of RAW data. A virtual light table and a darkroom for photographers, so to speak. It manages your digital negatives in a database, lets you view them through a zoomable light table and enables you to develop and improve raw images.

At the beginning of July, Darktable 3.6 was released as the main version, which introduced numerous new functions and improvements. Darktable 3.6.1 has now been released as the first point version, which fixes some unpleasant problems and offers support for new digital cameras.

The new version 3.6.1 adds basic support for the cameras Leica C-Lux (3: 2), Nikon D6 (12-bit compressed, 12-bit uncompressed, 14-bit compressed and 14-bit uncompressed), Nikon Z fc (12 -bit compressed and 14-bit compressed), Sony Alpha 7R III (ILCE-7RM3A) and Sony Alpha 7R IV (ILCE-7RM4A). In addition, a noise profile was introduced for the Ricoh GR III camera.

As for the bug fixes, this version improves the consistency between the CPU and GPU path in the color calibration module, fixes a small UI issue in the duplicate module, improves the module expansion feature in the quick access area when activating or deactivating a module, and fixes a crash that occurred in the Color calibration module can occur.

We also fixed a possible problem in OpenCL Bradford’s non-linear code in the color calibration feature that could cause the color to render incorrectly, a crash that occurs when renaming a drawn mask, an issue that affects the rendering of the Color picker tooltips, as well as the filename variable used when importing new images and some memory leaks.
